Job description

The professorship focuses on imparting technical, design and conceptual fundamentals for the development of multimedia, digital communication solutions – with a particular focus on the design of interactive, user-centered applications in the context of current AI technologies.

The professorship supports students in their professional, creative, and personal development and fosters future-oriented thinking. This encompasses the entire design process—from strategic conception as well as visual and functional design to the development of prototypes and the technical implementation of digital applications, considering modern UX/UI standards, human-centered design, and AI-supported tools (e.g., auto layouts, AI- driven design systems, conversational interfaces).

Your tasks in detail:

Representation of UX/UI Design field with a focus on AI-supported design processes in teaching – development, conception and implementation of courses in the areas such as:
- User experience and user interface design
- Human- Centered Design
- Design systems and prototyping
Integration of current AI technologies into teaching
Supervision and advice of students in project and final thesis
Active contribution to the development of a forward-looking, technology-informed design curriculum.
Participation in academic self-administration and involvement in university committees
Active development of the Media Design degree program, particularly the UX/UI DESIGN & AI specialization
Initiation of practical industrial and research projects
Strengthening the interdisciplinary connectivity of the UX/UI department to existing and future study programs at the Mediadesign University.

Professional requirements:

A completed university degree in design, media design, or interface/interaction designas well as
At least five years of design experience in companies and/or design and digital agencies in the field of UX/UI design with the integration of AI-supported tools and methods
Proven teaching skills, demonstrated through experience in higher education
Very good knowledge of English, as the courses are held in English.
Team and communication skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development to stay current in your field and area of teaching
Ability for interdisciplinary collaboration and international networking.

Personal characteristics:

You are a digital all-rounder with comprehensive expertise in full-stack design

Tool & Backend-Development

The Business Development Manager for International Student Recruitment will oversee all student recruitment activities, business development activities, account management and marketing events for B2B channels across the country or region you will manage. You will work closely with mdh management team to develop B2B channels and implement marketing and sales strategies to promote international student recruitment for mdh. You will be representing our university in the region of your expertise.

Requirements:

Essential Criteria

1. You have experience with international student recruitment for Higher Education.

2. You have an established and relevant agency network and solid relationships with key stakeholders in these agencies.

3. A solid understanding of industry trends is essential to inform the group on strategic planning and forecasting.

4. You have developed and trained education agents on how to promote the brand you represent.

5. You have experience sourcing agents from fairs, business trips, enquiries, referrals, in general searches in line with business development responsibilities.

6. You have experience in generating new revenue from existing streams and accounts as well as identifying new opportunities.

Kontinuierliche Überprüfung und Anpassung der Schulungsprogramme, um Compliance mit den neuesten Vorschriften und Standards zu gewährleisten.
Leitung und Koordination von internen sowie externen Auditprozessen, inklusive Vor- und Nachbereitung.
Fortlaufende Optimierung des Qualitätsmanagementsystems, um die Standards der AZAV konsequent einzuhalten und weiterzuentwickeln.
Aufbau des Erwachsenenbildungsbereichs:
Konzeption und Implementierung von innovativen Bildungsprogrammen für Berufstätige, inklusive Abend- und Online-Kursen.
Koordination der Kursplanung und Lehrkräfteverwaltung.
Überwachung und Sicherstellung der Qualitätssicherung für den gesamten Bereich der Erwachsenenbildung.
Aktive Zusammenarbeit mit Dozenten und Industrieexperten zur Entwicklung bedarfsgerechter Kursinhalte und Lehrpläne

Das bringen Sie mit

Akademischer Abschluss in Bildungsmanagement, Erwachsenenbildung oder einem vergleichbaren Fachbereich.
Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der AZAV-Zertifizierung und im Qualitätsmanagement, idealerweise in einer Bildungseinrichtung.
Nachgewiesene Erfolge in der Planung und Umsetzung von Bildungsprogrammen, besonders im Bereich der Erwachsenenbildung.
Ausgezeichnete organisatorische Kompetenzen und die Fähigkeit, unter Druck mehrere Projekte effektiv zu leiten.
Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und Verhandlungsgeschick.

Your area of responsibility

- Responsible for the entry formalities of mdh teachers to China as well as for contacting and receiving foreign activities

- Responsible for the promotion and recruitment of project students

- Counselling, completing formalities and monitoring and managing students going abroad

- Responsible for communication and cooperation between the Chinese and German sides

- Responsible for teaching and managing the students in the programme

Your skills

- Good written and spoken English, ability to communicate with foreign teachers and write some English documents

- Good Chinese writing skills; you must be able to compose and prepare all kinds of written materials

- High quality and service consciousness, excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Good knowledge of Office series office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
