BSR project Escape Cubes – Phase 2: Inspirations tour through Berlin

Media Design and Game Design on a voyage of discovery in Berlin at the Futurium and Humboldt Forum.

They look at exhibition concepts and ideas for realisation in order to gain inspiration for the Escape Cubes project. The following questions will be answered: How do I move through an exhibition? What do I need to arrive? What impresses and triggers me? Where do I stop and immerse myself? What means of staging have been chosen? Is it the targeted use of light and darkness, different colour codes, interactive ‘hands on’ stations or the field of tension that arises when the real object meets the media presentation?

In the end, the question arises as to how the two museums differ. While the Futurium focuses on learning and communicating content for children and young people, the Humboldt Forum focusses on a smart guidance system and the staging of spaces. All in all, it was worth it!

Discovery tours are always exciting and sharpen the eye, and this is no exception. When it comes to inspiration, Berlin is ahead of the game!
