Design Dialogues #3: Creativity between art, fashion and media – live podcast with Anna Kuen at the Berlin campus

Mediadesign University invites you to the third episode of Design Dialogues – the live podcast series that focuses on creative practice, new technologies and contemporary design culture. This time, the guest is Anna Kuen – artist, model and DJ – with a multidisciplinary background combining classical painting, fashion, photography, music and digital media.

In conversation with mdh CEO Martin Adam, Anna Kuen shares her perspectives on current topics at the intersection of aesthetics, identity and technology. Her experiences as a visual artist and model – both in front of and behind the camera – make her an exciting voice for anyone involved in the fashion and media world, between craftsmanship and digital transformation. Her critical view of AI-generated images and the future of digital aesthetics also promises interesting food for thought for anyone professionally involved in visual culture.

New: the Design Dialogues Workshop

For the first time, the podcast will be accompanied by a full-day workshop in which mdh students will work together with Anna Kuen. The goal: to reinterpret Kuen's paintings through 3D fashion environments – using digital tools that take analogue art into the virtual realm. The workshop opens up space for creative exchange between art, fashion and technology – practical, interdisciplinary and future-oriented.

Design Dialogues is a public event series organised by mdh that provides a platform for leading voices from the worlds of design, art and media to discuss creative processes, new formats and the changing role of design in an ever-changing world.
