The Career Development Centre at mdh — your career service for the creative and media industries — supports students and companies in connecting with one another and shaping professional development independently, rather than simply placing candidates in jobs — hands-on, personal, and international.
Our goal is to guide students in exploring career opportunities, developing skills, and making well-informed decisions about their own path. To do this, we create access to contacts, practical insights, and relevant career opportunities.
Whether through workshops, networking opportunities, individual consultations, or up-to-date information on our career platforms — we provide guidance, exchange, and practical support for the transition from studies into professional life and beyond.
Tamara Orlovsky: Your Contact for Career Development
I am the contact person for all questions related to career development, applications, and job entry. With passion, I create inspiration and build bridges from the classroom into the real working world.
As a designer with a background in communication design and business innovation, and experience across different working environments in the creative industries — from start-ups to corporations — I understand the many paths and realities of professional development from different perspectives.
Together, we reflect on career opportunities, develop individual strategies, and work on topics such as application documents for internships, LinkedIn profiles, or personal positioning. The focus is on orientation, exchange, and the question of which next steps fit your own interests, goals, strengths, and ideas. I also enable exchange with companies and industry representatives and support the early development of your own network.
