Design Management students visit dan pearlman: hands-on brand experience

Discover. Dream. Develop. Do. – what sounds like a call to action is the guiding principle of the experience agency dan pearlman – and at the same time a perfect match for the Master's programme in Design Management (M.A.) at Mediadesign University. On 30 June 2025, our students had the opportunity to experience just that: an exclusive insight into the creative world of dan pearlman – in the middle of the inspiring loft on Kiefholzstraße in Berlin.
The owner-managed agency has been a fixture in the field of holistic brand experiences for over 20 years. Whether brand strategy, communication, architecture or digital experience – interdisciplinary teams work hand in hand here to create spaces and experiences that truly touch people. Projects include the Mercedes-Benz ‘Brand Space’, sustainable retail concepts for Globetrotter and immersive worlds of experience such as the modernised Berlin Zoo.
For our students in the Design Management programme, the visit was much more than just a look behind the scenes: it showed how strategic thinking and creative work intertwine in practice – just as it is taught in the programme. Particularly inspiring was the personal conversation with Coco Deck, a Design Management alumna of mdh who has been working as an experience strategist at dan pearlman for three years.
Experiencing, networking, understanding – this day was a powerful example of how ideas can become concrete strategies and how course content can become real career paths.
