We are pleased to announce the first edition of con:flux 2026.

con:flux is a new platform for digital moving image, emerging media and student work. It aims to create a space for experimentation, exchange and visibility, bringing together projects that explore new forms of storytelling across film, social media and digital production.

The competition is open to all mdh students and trainees, with a focus on short, digitally driven formats.

Categories

Vertical / Social Film (9:16, max. 45 seconds)
Short Film (1–5 minutes, horizontal)
Animation / CG / VFX (1–5 minutes, horizontal)

Selection & Screening

All submissions will be reviewed by a jury. A shortlist will be created and the final selection will be presented at the official con:flux screening on May 30, 2026.

Selected projects will also be featured across mdh communication channels.

Submission

Projects can be submitted via the application form until April 30 at the latest.

Info Session

An online info session will take place on April 16 at 3 PM. If you would like to participate, please register via email.
