FMX - Film & Media Exchange - once again proved why it is considered one of the most important international events for film, animation, VFX, and digital media. Several days filled with inspiring talks, innovative technologies, creative exchange, and valuable industry conversations made this year’s event another unforgettable experience.

Surrounded by renowned studios, emerging talents, and international creatives, FMX highlighted the importance of events like this for students preparing to enter the creative industries. The event offered valuable insights into current industry developments while creating countless opportunities for networking and professional exchange.

From behind-the-scenes presentations and inspiring keynote talks to conversations in the Recruiting Hub and hands-on experiences with the latest software and hardware solutions in the marketplace, FMX 2026 delivered inspiration throughout the entire event.

This year, mdh attended FMX together with Digital Film Design students from all our campuses. The group was accompanied by Professor Frank Ringwald and Prof. Michael Klein, who supported students throughout the event and encouraged valuable connections with industry professionals.

We were also very happy to once again be represented with our own booth in the School Campus area, where we connected with future students, creatives, studios, and professionals from around the world. And of course, we also stopped by to visit our partner CapCut in the marketplace.

We are already looking forward to next year’s event!
