mdh Grad Show 2026

09.04.2026

End of the semester. For most, that means bad coffee and final deadlines. For us, it also means one thing: Our Grad Show.

The Grad Show is the result of an entire study program's work, now brought together across different programs in one shared final exhibition. What made this year special is that the entire concept of the show was developed by our Media Design students. As part of their final module, they didn’t just design individual pieces, they created and executed the whole exhibition independently. The visual direction drew inspiration from ’90s hip-hop, tribal aesthetics and Y2K design. Laptops, energy drinks, and USB sticks became unexpected canvases for statements, inside jokes and visual storytelling.

Across campus, each program found its own way to present their work. Students from Digital Film Design screened their projects, Game Design invited visitors to play their games, Media Design showcased final projects and Fashion Management offered insights into their work through interviews.

And it didn’t stop there. In a printing workshop, students created their own “Allstar Bags,” filled with sticker packs, posters and a CD booklet featuring selected Media Design projects.

Now, the next semester is already around the corner, bringing new projects, fresh ideas and the next wave of work that will eventually be showcased right here.
