MDH Berlin and Guangdong University of Technology intensify student mobility in digital media technology

Mediadesign Hochschule (mdh) and Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT) are pleased to announce their strategic cooperation in the fields of Digital Media Technology and Digital Film Design – Animation & VFX. The aim of the partnership is to provide students from both universities with international experience and the opportunity to exchange expertise in the creative and technological fields.
As part of this cooperation, GDUT students have the opportunity to spend an academic year at mdh Berlin after three years of study in China. The credits earned at mdh can be transferred to GDUT. At the same time, students who are regularly enrolled at mdh and meet the relevant requirements can have credits earned abroad recognised in accordance with the respective examination regulations.
After successfully completing their studies at their respective home universities, students
receive the corresponding degree from their home institution:
- a Bachelor of Engineering in Digital Media Technology from GDUT
- a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Film Design - Animation & VFX from mdh, upon fulfilment
of the curricular requirements.
This cooperation underscores the commitment of both institutions to internationality, interdisciplinary exchange and innovative educational concepts. Students benefit from international projects, artistic collaborations and practical industry connections in Berlin and Guangzhou.

Mr. Chen Tian, a renowned Chinese artist and faculty member of the School of Art and Design at GDUT, conducted a Chinese calligraphy and painting workshop at mdh Berlin Campus.

Cooperation agreement
Martin Adam, Chancellor of MD.H, and Prof. Dr. Hu Taiqin, Party Secretary of Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT), signed the cooperation agreement during the bilateral partnership meeting.
