Media Design success at the 39th Poster Competition of the German Student Union

The 39th poster competition organised by the German Student Union called on design students to creatively express their visions of the ideal place to learn and live in the future. The competition sought striking poster designs on topics such as digitalisation, sustainability, social spaces and new learning cultures.

Out of more than 745 submissions by 388 students from across Germany, one student from our Media Design program has made it into the final selection: Ana-Maria Chatzipapa, who was in her first semester at the time, under the guidance of Prof. Carsten Giese, was shortlisted for her poster on the theme "Campus of the Future" – a remarkable achievement and already a great distinction!

In total, five of our students made it onto the shortlist of the 68 best poster designs. We are thrilled with this strong showing – and are keeping our fingers crossed for Ana-Maria as the winners are announced!

The awards ceremony will take place on June 30, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin. 

All interested guests are warmly invited – admission is free.
