Kreativer Prozess, Project Brand und Self-Branding
Studierende lernen, kreative Prozesse zu strukturieren, Marken zu entwickeln und sich professionell für die Branche zu positionieren.
Kreativität ist im Fashion Management nicht nur eine Frage des persönlichen Ausdrucks. Sie ist eine zentrale Kompetenz, um Probleme zu lösen, Projekte zu steuern und Marken erfolgreich zu entwickeln.
Am Campus Düsseldorf setzen sich Studierende im Modul „Kreativer Prozess und Projektmanagement“ damit auseinander, wie kreative Ideen entstehen und wie sie in strukturierte Arbeitsprozesse überführt werden können. Dabei lernen sie Kreativitätstechniken kennen und verbinden diese mit klassischem, agilem oder hybridem Projektmanagement.
Ein Beispiel aus dem dritten Semester: Studierende entwickeln kurze Videos, in denen Prozesse im Projektmanagement anschaulich erklärt werden. Anschließend reflektieren sie ihr Projekt schriftlich und setzen ihre praktische Arbeit in einen theoretischen Kontext. So entsteht die Verbindung aus Gestaltung, Kommunikation, Analyse und wissenschaftlicher Reflexion.
Ein weiterer wichtiger Baustein ist das Projekt „Project Brand“. Hier nutzen Studierende ihre Kenntnisse aus dem Brand Management für konkrete Branding-Herausforderungen in der Modebranche. Das kann das Branding einer Kollektion, einer Innovation, eines Unternehmens oder auch einer Person sein.
Besonders spannend ist dabei das Thema Personal-Branding: Studierende analysieren ihre Persönlichkeit, klären berufliche Ziele und entwickeln daraus eine eigene visuelle und kommunikative Identität. In einem Coffee Table Book, einer Dokumentation und einem Social-Media-Konzept entsteht ein professionelles Selbstmarketing für den Einstieg in die Fashion-Branche.
Fashion Management an der mdh Düsseldorf verbindet damit kreative Entwicklung, strategisches Denken und berufliche Positionierung.
